Originally a teacher of Comp Lit, Katy taught literature for ten years in university settings before she realized she could find everything she loved most about teaching college students outside the walls of academia. For the past dozen years she has instead taught poetry in mind/body classes, workshops, and retreats - barefoot, with no need to give grades!
